Hewart 6800

This is a home build machine from a kit by Hewart, in the UK. The machine was donated by Peter Appleyard who built the machine. The machine is probably quite rare, please send any information if you have one. There is a complete set of manuals and software for the system.

Bought - 8th July 1980 for £437.

The system consists of:

• Hewart 6800 S microcomputer designed 1979

• Data tapes

•             Hewart 6800 software on cassette tape

•             Peter Appleyard 6800 software on cassette tape

• Omega cassette recorder model 8001

• Bush portable television model BM6714A S/No 76718

• Documentation in ring binders:

•             Design and circuit diagrams (all on CD)

•             6800 programming manual etc

•             IC data – PIA, UART, EPROM, real time clock, programmable timer etc

•             CSS Basic, Disc Basic with floppy discs

•             Assembler, Co-res assembler and Disassembler

•             Monitors 1, 2, Mikbug and Smithbug, and Flex operating system with disc
